How long has your seafood been on a truck or on the supermarket shelves?
How long did it take for your seafood to get from the ocean to your plate?
You need be certain that you are receiving the very best
quality fresh seafood. There have been extremely strict
quality and temperature control procedures put in place
to ensure that your seafood arrives at your door at the
peak of their freshness. All fresh fish should be graded
off the boats, hand cut, and graded again to ensure that
only the highest quality seafood is shipped to the
customer.
Fresh Seafood Packaging: When buying seafood online,
all seafood ranging from any fresh seafood: Lobster, Live
Lobster, Lobster Tails, Crab, Alaskan Crab Legs, Clams,
Oysters, Mussels, Salted Cod, Scrod, Haddock, Scallops,
Swordfish, Salmon, Tuna, Fresh Seafood, Shrimp, New
England Yankee Clambake and Caviar, should be
packaged in specially designed insulated foam boxes with
frozen gel packs. The foam box is set in a corrugated box
for shipment. All packages should be packed very
carefully to prevent damage during shipping.
The packaging should be extremely efficient and will keep seafood fresh all day in extreme conditions.
(i.e. Outside all day in 90F degree weather.)
Many of your qualified online seafood vendors can supply you with fresh seafood just recently
caught and can overnight it to you and have it delivered to your front door. Just be cautious with
whom you do business with. A qualified vendor will want to make sure that you receive quality
fresh seafood and will make sure you are satisfied by the fresh seafood and service.
